What we had in mind when creating Quintura Search is a simplified way of
searching, or, to be more exact, vertical searching. Unlike a conventional
search engine that lets you explore the surface of the WorldWide Web for the
most part, Quintura Search gives you the tools for diving in to discover the
deeper layers of the Internet. The more sophisticated your query, the deeper you
have to plunge to get it. And the other way round, the deeper you are in, the more
you learn about your topic of interest.
We have revised the virtues Quintura Search has brought, and come up with a
stunning new feature that will allow you to summarize your accumulated knowledge
of a topic you are interested in and create a comprehensive thematic visual map
that would give yourself and other users all chances to get a clear idea of the
topic.
This is a simple way to let others learn what you
• Know
• Think, and
• Are interested in.
You do not need any special skills to create your first search scope; rather,
you will enjoy the process. All that you need is Quintura Search version 1.5 and
a topic of interest!
Let us try and build a search scope on a common topic, for
example, “cars”.
1. Select a search engine:

2. Set the Number of found links to download to 250:

3. Enter your query:

4. Look through the words on the visual map. Note that your initial query is
automatically added to the Scope area:

5. Click “rental” to specify the direction for further searching:

6. Click Add query to scope
. The
current query is added to your Scope:

7. Unclick “rental” - you do not need it for your next query, then click
“dealer”:

8. Once again, click Add query to scope
:

9. Follow in the same manner adding other queries until you get the following
scope:

10. To display the output map, right-click on the empty space of your map,
and then choose Show scope:

You can plunge as deep as you like by making up other queries and adding these
to your scope to make it still more specific.
