Managing results

Quintura gives you a set of valuable tools for effective searching and result management.

Once you perform a search, the documents found for your query are listed on the Results pane. Further actions on the Quintura visual map trigger result changes only if the Autorefresh results check box is selected in the Quintura Settings. As you point to a word, more links are downloaded from the Web to update the current results.

If the file positioned first is not what you are looking for, try to make your query more specific by:

  1. Adding appropriate words to your query.
  2. Excluding words inconsistent with your query.
  3. Removing unwanted query words out of the query. Once you click a red word, the red highlighting is removed. The result list is updated (Quintura no longer searches for the removed word). The word is colored with gray in the cloud or is not displayed (depending on its weight in the found results).
